Student Application Process

Who can participate?

Undergraduates who have been enrolled for at least one semester at the time of application with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA may participate. In addition, students must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University, and be able to carry a full course load and still be able to devote 10 to 18 hours per week to the internship.

To apply for the Student Success Internship Program, you will need to submit a resume and cover letter for each SSI internship you plan to apply for.
  • For assistance writing a resume and cover letter, take advantage of the Center for Career and Professional Advancement resources:
  • Drop-in resume critiques (first come, first served) at the Center for Career & Professional Advancement - Mon-Thur. 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. located in the Student Services Building (SSB, Suite 230)

What's Next?

  • Open SSI internships will be posted here by September 21st, 2018
  • Most SSI interns will be selected by early Oct. 2018.
  • Annual Student Success Internship Symposium & Poster Session is scheduled for Weds. April 25th, 2019 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
